I was very satisfied overall. The wait time was a bit long. But when you factor in the size of the queue and the quality of the work it's 200% worth the wait!

Tachakah: My friend and I were quite unlucky to join the queue right after a large group of other commissioners so our wait was many months, but it's evident that each client gets the time and dedication to their request they deserve, and when our work was finally able to be started, it was completed in a few weeks time with beautiful quality as always. Tailbyte was great to work with—easy to communicate with and always responsive. The wait was a bit longer than my previous commissions since I joined a bigger queue and the poses were more challenging, but once he started, the turnaround was quick with frequent updates. Tailbyte was super communicative throughout the entire commission and readily accepted feedback. I even made a few mistakes on my ref and he was more than happy to fix them in the artwork without hesitation. The final piece he painted for me is absolutely beautiful (and incredibly sultry) with lots of detail in everything from the leaves on the trees to the fur on my character's body to the lights and shadows inter-playing in the jewelry. My favorite part is the expressions he gave my character, they're super expressive and fit perfectly with the scene. Thank you Tailbyte!

Communication with Tailbyte was very consistent and friendly! He gave me a quick turnaround when I requested a deadline as a surprise for my partner, my partner was very impressed with how their scalie character came out in this style! The commission process was fun and easygoing; the initial 'ideas' phase was a quick and easy back-and-forth, where I shared my ideas and Tailbyte made (much better!) suggestions. Great communication with the artist. We had a great discussion to find the project idea. When they started, they were keeping me up to date with the progress throughout the whole process. They were keen on fixing any issues I might have found, and rework some details. The resulting artwork looks great, and is of high quality. When it comes to wait time, it was definitely on the longer side of things, but it worked out in my advantage in the end since I was waiting for new reference material. I would definitely recommend them to everyone and will look forward for future collaborative work with them.

It was really easy to communicate and brainstorm ideas for the commission, and tailbyte was open to making adjustments to get the commission just right. The wait time was exactly what was quoted, and was not unreasonable for the amount of work needed to complete the commission. I really enjoyed commissioning Tailbyte! Other than a few core ideas, I gave him artistic freedom to suggest improvements and design the piece as he saw fit, and I think that was the right decision! I got a bit lucky that my piece made it to the front of the queue in record time, but I would have gladly waited longer if I had to! Turn-around time once the piece was started was quick, with lots of WIPs and progress updates. And the piece turned out even better than I could have imagined, super detailed and high quality, and exactly the vibes/mood I was going for! Phenomenal work as always from the kitty on the second commission round. Don't mind the wait time, original concept was a little too ambitious and complex, which would have exceeded our scheduled Lunch Break. Tailbyte's artistic expression/style is warm, vibrant, the colours popping out from each piece which is always lovely to admire. Not to mention that they're super easy to talk, brainstorm, and work with when it comes to bringing your commission to life. Would certainly recommend for the high quality of finished art received at the end.

Tailbyte really is a fantastic artist. For me personally, I love his art style and it reminds me a lot of the old German Story/Art books I used to have as a kid. While the wait times vary, sometimes a couple weeks to a couple months, the wait is worth it. He was in constant communication with me throughout the whole wait, gave me updates and was a pleasure to speak with. And honestly, the wait wasn't the worst thing in the world. It lines up with some of the best artists out there and that should tell you a lot. I really would recommend commissioning him, because I'm definitely happy with what I got, and will definitely get another.

Art is spectacular, love the soft brush. Somnus look so fluffy and kissable. It was cool Tailbyte did those alts, my Boyfriend is losing his mind over the finished product, he loves it almost as much as I do. Every time we spoke Tailbyte was kind to me and communicated very well about the specifics of my commission. The commission took a little bit to get done but Tailbyte had a lot to do before getting to my slot, so that's understandable. You can't crank stuff like this out in an hour, after all. Tailbyte is always nice to work with, they have good communication, especially with the slightly longer wait times (a lot of detail goes into their work), but the time spent waiting is definitely worth it if you see the results

Ray blew me away with my wickerbeast commission, I originally asked for a sketch and was delivered a fully coloured piece. It's one of my favorite artworks I've added and Ray converted it into a telegram sticker for me too. The artwork itself is amazing and realistic.

For the waterfall art piece, I very much enjoyed the way Tailbyte integrated my character into the YCH, it felt like he was part of the picture since the beginning. The surroundings themselves are amazing, you can see the water droplets flying off of the rocks. In terms of communication, Tailbyte will either message you yourself or whenever you ask them for an update, and they are very nice to work with.

Super easy to work with and willing to make changes when/as needed, beautiful results and I couldn't be happier.

Ray is helpful and responsive with their work. I had a vague idea of what I wanted and they helped me realize it clearly in a wonderful way. I received several work in progress pieces and knew exactly what I was getting. Ray went above and beyond and gave me a sticker version of my commission. Amazing art for an awesome price. It's realistic and stylized at the same time, I strongly recommend this artist.

The ref sheet for my character Zoël looks great. I love the small details like the raindrops, thunderbolt and rocks to represent how he's a weatherman. The descriptions and add-ons on the ref sheet are also very clear and fitting, as well as the words that describe his personality. It was done within a reasonable wait time and the communication Tailbyte provided was more than sufficient. Any time you ask Tailbyte for updates they will answer as quickly as they can, and otherwise they'll message you themselves.

Highly recommend, will 100% be getting more from them <3
