Oct 9 Queue: Added neat progress bars to pending comms! I've been also editing ToS lately and worked through the half of it, with the other half to be edited soon.
  Oct 4 Website received a light theme and various updates! Prices were adjusted: style tiers are no longer explicitly listed because they didn't accurately represent my approach to pricing and render process. I also removed Potraits from available commission options.
  Jul 24 Prices: Removed Comics from available commission options. I'd like to focus on full illustrations for now. When I feel ready to do comics again, I'll put them back.
  Jun 3 ~~Prices: Renamed Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 to Sketchy, Balanced and Epic.~~
  May 12 ~~Prices: Removed the first tier (sketch). Now there are 3 illustration tiers instead of 4.~~
  Apr 26 ToS: Clarified and rewrote some points.

  Apr 8 Website got a big design overhaul! This time, my goal was to declutter it visually and optimize in terms of code.
  Mar 23 Queue: optimized code of comm containers. That didn't solve the lag on mobile when opening the page, but at least it's easier for me to maintain the containers now.
  Mar 22 Removed the Timeline (a feature that showed new and completed comms grouped by month). I decided that the work needed to maintain it exceeds its usefulness. I also moved yearly commission stats to the Queue page.
  Mar 17 ~~Edited and rearranged info on the Process page.~~
  Mar 10 AirTM (service I used to withdraw money from PayPal) limited my account and refused to accept my documents. It means that withdrawing from PayPal became further complicated for me. If possible, payment is better to be made via crypto.

  Jan 27 ~~Timeline: finished reworking Timeline page! Now it shows my comm stats for each year, and timeline itself is a neat list of comms I took and completed each month. It can also be sorted and filtered!~~
  Jan 25 Queue: I've been working on a massive overhaul of the queue over the past couple weeks! I reworked all items, replacing vanilla Carrd elements with custom embeds. One useful feature is the "Show pending only" button, now you can see how many pending comms I have without having to scroll through the entire queue.Also added neat Lucide icons

ILLUSTRATIONS100-500+

Illustrations show one or more characters being cuties and getting up to some sort of gay lewd mischief ;3 Currently, I'm only offering NSFW illustrations.
Render and background depends on your idea and budget, and will be discussed individually. Sketchy render with plain background is enough for some ideas, while others require a full background and greater attention to detail. I also don't normally operate in terms of head/halfbody/fullbody - instead, I choose framing, pose and angle based on what would work best for your idea~

LANDSCAPES200-500+

The focus of landscapes is natural scenery, perfect as a desktop background or printed wall art! Your characters could be vibing somewhere in there but they will be looking smol compared to the surroundings, as shown on the examples below. Unlike illustrations, landscapes are intended to be SFW.

Notes

Each additional character may add 20-100% to base price, depending on their complexity, position and screen space they take. Special offer! Want a duo or trio art but can't decide who will take the extra spot? My sona Taily can be used as a spare character! He's a switch and can take any spot, and I won't charge you for him (examples on e621) :3
Alts may add $5-100 to the price. Alts are additional versions of main artwork: clothed/naked, sheathed/erect, clean/cummy, etc. The fee depends on the amount of extra work.
Deadlines may increase the price by 25-50% . If you want to have priority, make sure to approach me at least 5 days in advance of your deadline. If I accept it, I'll put everything else aside and focus on your comm. The fee depends on how big your comm is and how soon you need it done.
If you pay on PayPal, I'll add a 5% fee to cover some of my losses. But if you pay via crypto, you can get a 5% discount! More info about that in ToS / Payment Methods
At this time, I only offer two commission types: illustrations and landscapes. I don't accept stickers, refsheets, character design, comics, or animations.

By commissioning me, you confirm that you're at least 18 years old, and that you've read and agree to this ToS. Any potential disputes will be decided based on the content of this page. Feel free to ask questions if you need clarifications~
I don't accept private comms (which I can't post), but I may accept anonymous comms (which I can post while keeping your nickname a secret).
When I'm approached by a potential client, I usually assume good faith unless something is sus. To keep myself safe, I may refuse to work with users that have new or blank profiles, AI-generated pfps, or generally creepy aura. I also don't work with people that display religious fanaticism, transphobia, far-right association, or other toxic and judgemental views. I very much prefer fellow open-minded folks~
I haven't heard of any scammers impersonating me. Just in case tho, I only post and communicate from the profiles listed on the page Contact, any other profiles are to be considered impersonators. Please reach out if you know of any such cases!

IDEA DISCUSSION

First of all, we need to discuss what the artwork will be about. At this step, we can freely toss ideas around, work details out and try to settle on something that sounds fun for both of us. Draw List might help at that~
Figuring out the idea usually takes an hour or two, but sometimes can take a few days of casual brainstorming. There's usually no rush because working out a good idea is very important! We should take as much time as we need~
When explaining your idea, I encourage you to supplement your descriptions with random arts and photos to help get your idea across. You don't need to spoiler nsfw content in chat with me, I won't do that either unless you ask me to. Also, please try to avoid knowingly sending me AI-generated references.
Here's a list of things I need to know about your comm:

Characters – Who are they, what's their vibe? I'll need high quality refsheets and/or arts with them. Also as a reminder, my sona Taily (examples on e621) can be used alongside your characters if you'd like~
Situation – What are they doing? Bonus points if a hot action is accompanied by unusual or humorous context~ Consult Draw List / Situations to see what I'm interested in~
Setting – Where are they doing such unspeakable things? May be useful to know even if there's no background. Consult Draw List / Settings to see what I'm interested in (I'm usually biased towards natural settings).
Technical details – Vertical or horizontal, resolution, dpi, etc. If you don't provide any specs, I'll go with what I think works best for your idea. I usually work in 4K resolution (e.g. 4000x2250 for 16:9 aspect ratio).
Artist's choice – Alternatively, you can let me decide one or more of the above points. Just don't complain afterwards >;3

COMMUNICATION

Please do your best to provide clear and sufficient communication. Describe your ideas in full sentences, with as many relevant details as you can think of. Phrase your wishes directly and explicitly to avoid misunderstandings. I'll ask questions (if I have any) to help you out and make sure that we're on the same page~
Please provide communication in a timely manner. I may ask questions or send updates throughout the process, and I'd appreciate if you respond to my messages within 24 hours. If you don't respond for more than 72 hours, I may pause your commission or proceed without waiting for your feedback. If you know that you'll be unavailable for long periods of time, please notify me beforehand.
If your comm has two or more participants, let's create a group chat to make communication easier.
If your comm is a gift for someone, make absolutely sure that they're okay with being drawn in your proposed scenario, and that they agree to it being publicly posted.
Off-topic chatting and flirting is alright if we vibe with each other~ I'm just a friendly and silly cat, not some cold business entity. In fact, I've become friends with quite a few of my clients :3

Payment

PRICE DISCUSSION

I'll suggest a quote after we discuss your comm, when I have a good idea of how much work it'll probably take. This quote isn't set in stone yet and can be negotiated within reason. If it's too high for you, please don't be afraid to say so~ We could revise the idea and see how to simplify it, or come up with another solution. Conversely, if you want to pay more than what I suggested, I'd be stoked! Tips are always very welcomed~
My approach when estimating a price is to aim for at least $25 per hour of work. For example, if I think your comm will take around 10 hours of work, 10 x $25 = $250 would be my minimal quote. I count hours of my every work session, and only focused drawing is counted towards the total amount of hours. On the page Queue, you can see how many hours of work each of my past comms took.

PAYMENT METHODS

PayPal +5% fee
I'll send an invoice on your email, "friends and family" isn't available. PayPal really sucks: it's hostile to nsfw artists, has high fees, and it's complicated for me to withdraw from it. In the end I'll receive less than 85% of your payment. To cover at least some of those losses, I'll add a 5% fee on your invoice.
Cryptocurrency -5% discount
USDT, USDC or BTC. I'm not a cryptobro, I simply use it as a financial infrastructure. In fact, crypto is also the only way I can withdraw from PayPal because I don't have a bank account (immigrant life). By bypassing PayPal and paying on my crypto wallet directly, you make it much easier for me to cash out, and ~98% of your payment will end up in my paws. As an extra incentive, I offer a 5% discount~

PAYMENT TIMING

Even though I take payment upfront, I propose relaxed terms with no strict payment deadlines. I'm fine with delays, for example if you need to wait for your paycheck. Payment in parts is also alright and it doesn't even have to be scheduled, just throw money at me bit by bit until the full amount has been paid. Just tell what works for you~
I don't usually accept "payment after sketch" or "50% upfront, 50% after sketch". I may only consider this kind of conditions if my queue is short, which usually isn't.
I'll put your comm on the Queue after receiving at least a partial payment.

REFUNDS

Refunds are highly unlikely because doing art is my only source of income. Before you commission, take your time to decide if you actually want it and can manage it financially. You may cancel it at any point before payment, but once you've paid – you should consider this money spent. Exceptions may be possible in special cases.
No refunds will be issued if you broke up or fell out with your commission partner while the comm was in progress. We can revise it and try to change some things to make it relevant again, potentially with an extra charge.

Working

WAIT TIME

1-3 months is my usual estimate and I try my best to finish most comms within that time frame. However, please keep in mind that it's not a promise! Work may take longer for various reasons, such as complex comms, long queue, and life events. I also live with a bunch of conditions that make my productivity and energy levels inconsistent.
I always prioritize quality and care over speed of work, so please allow me to take as much time as I need~ I may be a slowpoke but I try to make it up by doing every artwork to the best of my abilities~

ORDER OF WORK

I work on comms in a flexible and non-linear order. Generally, I move from older to newer comms, but I might also prioritize them by other traits like complexity, deadlines, personal interest, etc. For example, I often do simple comms first because they're easier to finish. This approach improves average wait time and helps my productivity~
Often, a month or two may pass between taking your comm and starting it – it's normal and you shouldn't be worried, it just means that I was finishing up other comms. I'll try to keep you updated even if I have nothing to show yet. You can always find your comm in the Queue, see how much time has passed and estimate when it'll be your turn. Or you can just message me anytime and ask~

UPDATES & EDITS

Once I started your comm, I'll be showing you work-in-progress updates (wips) every now and then, usually once every few days. Wips normally go like this: sketch, rough coloring & shading, painting snippets and pre-finals. You may save wips to personal archive or use them as profile pictures, but please don't post them!
Each wip is an opportunity for you to suggest edits if you spot something that needs adjustment, for example if I missed something. I don't have specific limits and will consider your suggestions case-by-case, just make sure to describe them in enough detail so I can understand what you mean and why you think these changes are needed. I usually accept them but if I decline, I'll try to explain why~
When it's almost done, I'll show the pre-finals for you to confirm that everything is good. Make sure to check them thoroughly! After your confirmation, I'll do some finishing touches and send you the final results. After that, I'm unlikely to make any more edits, though exceptions are possible.

Usage

RESULT

PNG files in full quality, usually in 4K resolution and ~10-20Mb each. These files are best suited for offline use (storing as originals, printing, etc)
JPG files for posting on the internet. They usually have slightly lower resolution and 5% compression. Loss of quality is barely noticeable, but the filesize is reduced to under 2Mb – perfect for online use!
Bonus stuff, such as painting timelapses and extra alts. I do them for free at my own discretion and will send them your way as well~
I backup and store all the arts indefinitely. If you lose your files somehow, feel free to message me and I'll send them to you again.

I really appreciated the brainstorming process, it was great working through ideas to come up with something interesting. Wait time is great, anything under a year is good for me generally, so a few months is fast. Tailbyte was super communicative throughout the entire commission and readily accepted feedback. I even made a few mistakes on my ref and he was more than happy to fix them in the artwork without hesitation. The final piece he painted for me is absolutely beautiful (and incredibly sultry) with lots of detail in everything from the leaves on the trees to the fur on my character's body to the lights and shadows inter-playing in the jewelry. Tailbyte has been an absolute joy to work with. The commission process was fun and easygoing; the initial 'ideas' phase was a quick and easy back-and-forth, where I shared my ideas and Tailbyte made (much better!) suggestions. He was also very up front about the wait time, which I had absolutely no problem with. Once the commission was started, Tailbyte provided frequent updates, and was more than happy to oblige me on a couple small changes I asked for. Great communication with the artist. We had a great discussion to find the project idea. When they started, they were keeping me up to date with the progress throughout the whole process. They were keen on fixing any issues I might have found, and rework some details. The resulting artwork looks great, and is of high quality. When it comes to wait time, it was definitely on the longer side of things, but it worked out in my advantage in the end since I was waiting for new reference material. I would definitely recommend them to everyone and will look forward for future collaborative work with them.

It was really easy to communicate and brainstorm ideas for the commission, and tailbyte was open to making adjustments to get the commission just right. The wait time was exactly what was quoted, and was not unreasonable for the amount of work needed to complete the commission. I really enjoyed commissioning Tailbyte! Other than a few core ideas, I gave him artistic freedom to suggest improvements and design the piece as he saw fit, and I think that was the right decision! I got a bit lucky that my piece made it to the front of the queue in record time, but I would have gladly waited longer if I had to! Turn-around time once the piece was started was quick, with lots of WIPs and progress updates. And the piece turned out even better than I could have imagined, super detailed and high quality, and exactly the vibes/mood I was going for! Overall I would highly recommend commissioning him if you get the chance! I certainly hope to do so again in the future.

Phenomenal work as always from the kitty on the second commission round. Don't mind the wait time, original concept was a little too ambitious and complex, which would have exceeded our scheduled Lunch Break. Tailbyte's artistic expression/style is warm, vibrant, the colours popping out from each piece which is always lovely to admire. Tailbyte really is a fantastic artist. For me personally, I love his art style and it reminds me a lot of the old German Story/Art books I used to have as a kid. While the wait times vary, sometimes a couple weeks to a couple months, the wait is worth it. He was in constant communication with me throughout the whole wait, gave me updates and was a pleasure to speak with. And honestly, the wait wasn't the worst thing in the world. It lines up with some of the best artists out there and that should tell you a lot. I really would recommend commissioning him, because I'm definitely happy with what I got, and will definitely get another.

Art is spectacular, love the soft brush. Somnus look so fluffy and kissable. It was cool Tailbyte did those alts, my Boyfriend is losing his mind over the finished product, he loves it almost as much as I do. Every time we spoke Tailbyte was kind to me and communicated very well about the specifics of my commission. For the waterfall art piece, I very much enjoyed the way Tailbyte integrated my character into the YCH, it felt like he was part of the picture since the beginning. The surroundings themselves are amazing, you can see the water droplets flying off of the rocks. In terms of communication, Tailbyte will either message you yourself or whenever you ask them for an update, and they are very nice to work with.

Ray is helpful and responsive with their work. I had a vague idea of what I wanted and they helped me realize it clearly in a wonderful way. The ref sheet for my character Zoël looks great. I love the small details like the raindrops, thunderbolt and rocks to represent how he's a weatherman. How long have you been doing art?
Since around 2012. I started from 3D and photography before getting into digital painting. I also dipped my paws into design, worldbuilding and music. Then I started drawing furry porn! Tailbyte's official birthday is October 16, 2022~
Do you do traditional art?
Very rarely and nothing serious. I'd love to do more physical art but it's not very practical at the moment. Maybe someday~
Any other hobbies and interests?
I'm excited about lots of stuff, for example music! I always listen to something while drawing, it helps me focus. Mostly various kinds of metal, here's a list of my fav albums~

Natural sciences! Geology, botany, zoology, ecology and natural history, as part of my love of nature in the broad sense. Hiking is my favorite way to unwind. I collect rocks, pinecones, shells and other pretty things~

I'm mainly self-taught. I tried to study design at a uni but had to drop out due to mental health issues and neurodivergence. So I simply continued my self-education at my own pace and on my own terms.

I shamelessly enjoy drawing a variety of body morphologies and genitalia shapes, I think each has its own beauty and sexual appeal. I disagree with anti-feral opinions and stand against suppression and censorship of artistic expression. Art doesn't owe to be exclusively human-centric or socially conforming. Either way, I try to tag my art properly when possible, just use blacklist if you don't want to see something.

That said, I've never harmed animals and don't condone animal cruelty. I respect and admire them, and unironically call them non-human people. I avoid all meat except for occasional chicken and fish, for ethical and environmental reasons. Those that want to protect animals should focus their efforts against meat industry, habitat destruction and other gargantuan threats to animal welfare.

Random fun facts!

I have a rare neurological condition called non-24-hour sleep-wake disorder (N24). Simply put, my biological day is 25 hours long, which makes my sleep and wake time to shift an hour forward every day. I've been having it for almost 10 years and found no long-term treatment so far. Only melatonin supplements seem to help, albeit short-term.
